UGG Celebrates 40 Years

UGG® celebrates four decades with a global campaign eponymously named 'UGG: 40 Years'.  What began as a surf label in 1978 has transformed into a fashion powerhouse.  UGG® never ceases to showcase a fresh, free-spirited, and colorful California lifestyle.  Embellished with bright orange flowers, an unmatched symbol of the Golden State, the campaign honors this tradition. 
   
To commemorate this milestone, UGG envisions combining its most stylish exemplars with stars of fashion, innovation, and art.  These extraordinary people embody the coming generations of UGG®.
   
'UGG: 40 Years' was by photographed by Erik Madigan Heck, known for his studied and surreal environments.  Erik brings a cipher to the campaign by reinterpreting archetypal California landscapes.  Big Sur, Redwood Country, and California poppies are saturated with dazzling colors and ornament.
   
On October 4th, UGG® hosted a private party for its 40th birthday and worldwide campaign at Chateau Marmont.  Campaign stars Adwoa Aboah and Heron Preston were joined by Vanessa Hudgens, Teyana Taylor, Justine Skye, Luka Sabbat, H.E.R., SIMIHAZE, Hailey Clauson, Cozy Boys, Gianni Lee, Amanda Steele, Anne Winters, and Neels Visser.  Musical performances by H.E.R., Cherry Glazerr, and Heron Preston, art installations by Gianni Lee and Cleo Wade.  After H.E.R. performed, she announced her role as the new UGG® brand ambassador and star in the brand's Autumn/Winter 2019 campaign.
   
UGG® also opens up their 40:40:40 Collection to commemorate the anniversary.  The limited edition assemblage reissues its favorite styles in the original Sand colorway.  The troche includes 40:40:40 branding in Women's, Men's, and Kids' with prices ranging from $55-$180.
