Bacardi Hosts Evening Of Art And Fashion Honoring Celia Cruz

Bacardi Women in Leadership reveals tickets are now on sale for its Evening of Art & Fashion on Saturday, October 6, at the American Museum of the Cuban Diaspora.  This twilight cocktail affair is the opening celebration for the 25th anniversary of Dress for Success Miami, which nurtures a nexus of support, professional attire, and success tools to help women shine in work and in life.  Guests will be the first to preview 'Forever Celia' – the greatest show ever created highlighting an intimate and immersive look at the life of the fabulous Queen of Salsa.

'We are excited to kick off our 25th anniversary year with this unique celebration of women,' says Sonia Jacobson, founder and executive director of Suited for Success/Dress for Success Miami.  'We are so grateful to the Miami community for helping us reach this milestone, and to partners like Bacardi who make it possible for us to continue empowering women across Miami-Dade County.'

VIP guests will treat their senses in a private cognac, whiskey and cigar lounge hosted by Bacardi and catch an exclusive fashion show presenting a Rene by RR collection from famous Cuban fashion designer Rene Ruiz.  Patrons will converge on the museum's rooftop terrace for live music and to flash on a live mural painting by Ecuadorian artist Alejandra Estefania.

'As we've been bringing people together for more than 156 years, Bacardi is proud to partner with organizations like Dress for Success Miami, that celebrates and empowers women to be the best version of themselves', said Paula Glickenhaus, VP & global head of Women in Leadership for Bacardi.  'Bacardi Women in Leadership jumped at the opportunity to host an event that combines art and fashion, celebrates the spirit of a powerful female music icon, and reinforces our long-standing legacy and commitment to community involvement and philanthropy.'
